Soft Hand is a hand in which any Ace is counted as either an 11 or a 1. 
Splitting Pairs is splitting the two cards and playing each hand individually. 
Stand means “to decline another card”. 
Surrender is the ability of the player to give up only half there bet when the player believes they cannot beat the dealer. 
Third Base is the last seat at the blackjack table, immediately to the right of the dealer.
